摘要: Abstract A well-known method for determining the number of fatigue load cycles prior to failure is perform a striation counting on fractured surface. The primary objective this study evaluate accuracy performed using high-resolution scanning electron microscope. Fatigue experiments were conducted two aluminum alloy AA-2024-T3 specimens and low steel AISI-4130-O specimens. We then fractographical analysis compared results experimental data. second determine several guidelines regarding process which will raise its accuracy. This shows that high can be achieved by microscope, but one must aware problems difficulties occur during process. Several determined.
