摘要: A data-storage disk includes a sector for storing data and servo wedge located at the beginning of sector. The indentifies in conjunction with both an initial positioning read-write head read or write operation. By using to provide position on spin up during operation, one can increase disk's capacity by reducing number of, altogether eliminating, spin-up wedges.
