New developments using AI in fault diagnosis

摘要: Abstract This paper is intended to give a survey on the state of art model-based fault diagnosis for dynamic processes employing artificial intelligence approaches. Emphasis placed upon use fuzzy models residual generation and logic evaluation. By suggestion knowledge-based observer-like concept generation, basic idea novel observer concept, so-called “knowledge observer”, introduced. The neural-network approach evaluation outlined as well.
