摘要: Summary In very young rabbits the anterior portion of dorsal hippocampus was surgically severed so that precursors granule cells migrating towards fascia dentata could not reach their destination. Following such a surgical intervention atrophied. But accessory dentata, which in normal brain is composed small group around fasciola cinerea, showed an extensive growth. Cytogenetically as well morphogenetically it similar to except had inverted orientation. The appeared ‘normal’ at those levels where polymorph layer Ammon's horn present, but failed acquire morphology absent. Considering this other observations, suggested morphogenesis and orientation under experimental conditions determined by ‘inductive influences’ residing layer.
