Prospects for constrained supersymmetry at \(\sqrt{s}={33}\,\text {TeV} \) and \(\sqrt{s}={100}\,\text {TeV} \) proton–proton super-colliders

摘要: Discussions are under way for a high-energy proton–proton collider. Two preliminary ideas the $$\sqrt{s}={33}\,\text {TeV} $$ HE-LHC and $$\sqrt{s}={100}\,\text VLHC. With Bayesian statistics, we calculate probabilities that LHC, HE-LHC, VLHC discover SUSY in future, assuming nature is described by CMSSM given experimental data from LUX, Planck. We find LHC with $$300/\text {fb} at $$\sqrt{s}={14}\,\text has $$15$$ – $$75~\%$$ probability of discovering SUSY. Should run fail to SUSY, $$3000/\text merely $$1$$ $$10~\%$$ . Were remain undetected would have $$35$$ $$85~\%$$ The VLHC, on other hand, ought be definitive; it correct model, $$100~\%$$
