摘要: It has been customary in the study of electrical breakdown and motion electrons ions gases to record experimental data as functions parameter E/p. This is being increasingly replaced by E/N, expressed V cm2, where N gas number density (E cm-1, cm-3). makes it difficult, however, estimate quickly equivalent `E/p' proposed that a solution would be choose magnitude unit E/N (the `Townsend') such 1 Townsend = 10-17 cm2. Comments on this suggestion are invited from workers field.
