摘要: Small-scale magnetic fields can be observed on the Sun in high-resolution G-band filtergrams as bright points (MBPs). We study Hinode/Solar Optical Telescope (SOT) longitude and latitude scans of quiet solar surface taken order to characterise centre-to-limb dependence MBP properties (size intensity). find that MBP’s sizes increase their intensities decrease from centre towards limb. The size distribution fitted using a log–normal function. natural logarithm mean (μ parameter) this function follows second-order polynomial generalised standard deviation (σ fourth-order or equally well (within statistical errors) sine brightness features is smaller than one would expect normal variation; say, ratio intensity image increases variations MBPs quiet-Sun field by polynomial. detailed physical process results an limb not yet understood has studied more detail future.
