摘要: PURPOSE Multiple myeloma (MM) is an incurable disease of malignant plasma cells in the bone marrow (BM). Adaptive responses to hypoxia may be essential element MM progression and drug resistance. This metabolic adaptation involves a decrease extracellular pH (pHe), it depends on upregulation glucose transporters (GLUTs) that common cancer cells. CEST MRI imaging technique assesses pHe indirectly by exchange rate magnetic saturation transfer between labile protons solute water. Thus, this study aimed determine feasibility acidoCEST for measurement using orthotopic mouse model compared with GLUT1 immunofluorescence staining as reference.
