摘要: The relationship between ceruloplasmin, a metalloenzyme with oxidase activity, and copper was investigated in cattle sheep. activity of ceruloplasmin correlated closely the serum or plasma concentrations cattle. respective correlation coefficients were 0.83 0.60. In sheep serum, coefficient 0.92 obtained. each instance, remained linear from deficient to high normal ranges copper. Comparison regression relationships indicated bovine statistically lower than (P less 0.0001), through intercepts lines two similar = 0.412). Comparisons ovine serum-ceruloplasmin that significant species difference present. Ovine increased more rapidly as compared corresponding over range 0.0001). intercept also A 0.35 observed hepatic indicating mathematical not well defined. Ceruloplasmin appears correlate liver concentrations.
