摘要: Celiac disease (CD) is an immune-mediated disorder that occurs in genetically predisposed individuals who ingest gluten. Gluten a dietary protein found wheat, barley, and rye. In the susceptible person, this gluten-containing diet can lead to development of autoimmune enteropathy, causing malabsorption carbohydrates, proteins, fats, critical vitamins minerals. Deficiencies key nutrients celiac occur due malabsorption, poor intake, lack fortification gluten-free foodstuff. This chapter reviews data regarding common supplements may enhance healthy lifestyle, including iron, B-complex vitamins, fat-soluble trace metals minerals, fiber, probiotics. Special attention given promote bone health, pregnancy, fertility, alleviate symptoms refractory (RCD). Clinicians must maintain high index suspicion for these nutritional deficiencies, as they present with myriad closely mimic other disorders. If diagnosed early, complications long-standing be completely avoided by strict adherence appropriate supplements.
