摘要: Both a reduction in tidal volume and alveolar recruitment may be necessary to prevent ventilator-induced lung injury the management of patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome. The collapse associated endotracheal suctioning produces hypoxaemia, but it also causes de-recruitment, potentially aggravating injury. A study conducted by Dyhr colleagues demonstrates benefit manoeuvres after suctioning, which help improve oxygenation restore more rapidly. Although this intervention appears safe beneficial, precise role remains elucidated.
