摘要: Summary The rational selection of an optimal gradient in reversed-phase liquid chromatography is discussed from two viewpoints. Firstly, a general expression derived for the numerical calculation retention data case when relationship between capacity factor,k, and mobile phase composition, φ, known. For linear graphical solution demonstrated analytical solutions are presented simple but widely applicablek φ relationships. Retention thus calculated agree well with experimental results. Secondly, multi-component solubility parameter theory used to predict thek relationship. Modification stationary chemically bonded under influence organic modifier introduced improve accuracy predictions. Empirical correlations using parameters as alternative theoretical expressions.
