摘要: The aim of the present study was to investigate resistance pheno- and genotypes molecular typing characteristics methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) isolates from broiler farms in order explore transmission between different reservoirs. Thirty-seven MRSA CC398 (11 broilers, 15 houses, 5 farm residences 6 humans living and/or working on farms) cultured samples at four during a previous study, were included. In addition previously determined spa types, characterized by dru typing, SCCmec pulsed-field gel electrophoresis DNA microarray. Resistance phenotypes broth microdilution. genes detected microarray or specific PCR assays. Selected broilers (n = 7) analysed whole genome mapping. On same farm, chickens, often closely related indistinguishable. three farms, however, with present. one hand, apparent similarity indicates their environment. other indicating introduction sources diversification over time. This shows that methods should be used epidemiological links mapping can useful tool establish these links.
