摘要: Identifying and characterizing strombolian activity from space is a challenging task for satellite-based infrared systems. Stromboli volcano natural laboratory that offers unique opportunity refining thermal remote-sensing applications involve transient phenomena small to moderate hot-spots. A new simple fast algorithm gave us the revisit MODIS-derived output at over last 13 years. The includes both night-time daytime data shows high performance with detection of small-amplitude anomalies (  1000 MW). ...
