摘要: The process of planning and constructing a new light rail system or freeway, setting an urban growth boundary, changing tax policy, modifying zoning land use plans is often politically charged. Our goal in the UrbanSim project to provide tools for planners stakeholders be able consider different scenarios --- packages possible policies investments then, based on these alternatives, model resulting patterns redevelopment, transportation usage, resource consumption other environmental impacts, over periods twenty more years. [1, 3, 4] performs simulations development, including transportation, use, their interactions. It consists set interacting component models that simulate actors processes within environment. written Java, distributed as Open Source software.
