摘要: Objective: The authors aimed to use baseline data of an ongoing large, prospective study in subjects with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) investigate the impact APOE genotype on symptom profile condition. Methods: Cognitive assessments included AD Assessment Scale subscale (ADAS-cog), Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), and a battery for assessment memory, attention, executive function. Behavioral Neuropsychiatric Inventory Beck Depression Inventory. Activities daily living were assessed by Cooperative Study Daily Living (ADCS-ADL) scale. Hippocampal volumes measured MRI. Results: A total 494 1,018 provided data. Approximately 40% e4 carriers. carriers had lower MMSE ( p = 0.01) higher ADAS-cog 0.002). scores similar across subgroups. Conclusion: MCI carrying allele showed distinct imaging profiles, which appeared resemble those early Alzheimer patients. was associated greater impairments memory functional activities as well hippocampal atrophy.
