摘要: The osseointegration rate of titanium dental implants is related to their composition and surface roughness. Rough-surfaced favor both bone anchoring biomechanical stability. Osteoconductive calcium phosphate coatings promote healing apposition, leading the rapid biological fixation implants. different methods used for increasing roughness or applying osteoconductive are reviewed. Surface treatments, such as plasma-spraying, grit-blasting, acid-etching, anodization coatings, corresponding morphologies properties described. Most these surfaces commercially available have proven clinical efficacy (>95% over 5 years). precise role chemistry topography on early events in implant remain poorly understood. In addition, comparative studies with rarely performed. future implantology should aim develop controlled standardized chemistry. This approach will be only way understand interactions between proteins, cells tissues, surfaces. local release stimulating resorptive drugs peri-implant region may also respond difficult situations poor quality quantity. These therapeutic strategies ultimately enhance process immediate loading long-term success.
