摘要: The purpose of the research was an evaluation removable partial dentures (RPDs) influence on temperature values registered in area mental foramen. Initial assumption made that is proportional to blood flow artery. Additionally, objective assessment application infrared thermovision technique field dental prosthodontics. Two independent groups patients were examined. Test group consisted 30 using RPD, and control composed 33 partially edentulous mandibular arch. mean age test 68.8 years, standard deviation (SD) = 10.6, whereas 62.3, SD = 11.9. Temperature recorded with camera. underwent two examinations (with denture 45 min after removal), examined once. Results showed decreased case patients. differences statistically significant (p < 0.05); however, negative transient as RPD removal similar both groups.
