摘要: Test specimens used to determine the interlaminar strength of composites as well adhesive layers are known occasionally suffer from instability. Thus, even though experiments performed under controlled load-point displacement, terminated prematurely by unstable crack propagation. Often there exists a critical length which must be exceeded in order obtain stable In this paper, general method assess stability beam-like fracture mechanics is developed. Both systems subjected single load and more situation with several independent loads treated. A simple formula derived for one-parameter loading. The only parameter necessary input compliance un-cracked specimen. For case non-proportional loading, determined studying eigenvalues symmetric matrix. Other findings quantified paper effect orthotropy, influence flexible interphase layer loading device.
