Comparison of two observational methods, scanning electron and confocal laser scanning microscopies, in the adhesive interface analysis of endodontic sealers to root dentine.

摘要: To compare the accuracy of confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) and electron (SEM) during analysis adhesive interface integrity intratubular penetration root canal sealers to radicular dentine. Twenty roots human maxillary incisors were prepared distributed into two groups (n = 10), followed by filling with gutta-percha Endofill (G1) or AH Plus (G2). After 7 days, sectioned analyzed under CLSM SEM. Score systems used evaluate (0–4) sealer (0–3). Data submitted Wilcoxon-Mann-Whitney Kendall correlation statistical tests (α = 5%). In analysis, was similar (P = 0.157) SEM for Endofill; however, results different (P = 0.029). Intratubular had significant difference between observational methods both (P < 0.0001). Correlation moderate low Plus. sealers. when compared, a more homogeneous interface, greater Comparison demonstrated positive analysis.
