INVESTIGATIONS ON THE SPORTING PROCESS IN GREENHOUSE CHRYSANTHEMUMS

摘要: The chromosome numbers of 56 varieties greenhouse chrysanthemums were determined. Fifty-one belonged to 10 'families' sports and the compared with those their vegetative parents. Sporting, mostly flower colour mutation, was accompanied by gain or loss a few chromosomes in about 30 per cent cases. Two plants different but true varietal found.The most frequent number authors' material 2n = 57. range 2n = 45–64. Mitotic irregularities variation within individuals observed.
