摘要: Abstract Chemical and toxicological crude oil analysis was performed on water-accommodated fraction of (WAF). This study characterized the chemical composition WAF its dissipation over a period 192 h. Acute (96 h) chronic (14 d) toxicity were evaluated Hyalella curvispina from both reference (Los Barreales lake, LB) hydrocarbon-contaminated (Duran stream, DS) sites. The total hydrocarbon (TPHs) concentration in 2.18 mg L−1. rates hydrocarbons showed first-order kinetics, with half-lives ranging between 65 h-200 h. Amphipods LB acute LC50 values 0.33 0.018 mg L−1, respectively. DS exposed to pure no mortality either or assays. Further biochemical molecular research is required determine mechanisms underlying resistance exposure amphipods.
