摘要: This chapter discusses the asymmetry and prepattern in mammalian development. The possibility that developmentally significant prepatterning of oocyte or zygote occurs eutherian mammals, as most other animals, is generally felt to be incompatible with marked capacity early conceptuses regulate their development response various perturbations. There are a number concerns regarding interpretation relevant experiments undertaken so far somewhat undermine force this view. is, furthermore, growing body data not readily accommodated within conceptual frameworks envisage emergence patterning being wholly dependent on postzygotic events. Collectively, these point regularities suggest indeed rooted egg organization at least unperturbed That conceptus seems have evolved efficient ways normalizing its following experimental perturbation likely complicate task.
