摘要: A 2002 congressional mandate initiated the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Centers Excellence programs with a requirement to conduct cross-organizational research and development. The resulting complex multiorganizational required more effective virtual leadership management strategies. Despite growing government investment in these over past decade, evidence indicates persistent lack strategies that account for intended outcomes interdisciplinary expectations programs. As top academic researchers are drawn upon organize manage programs, challenge collaborative context engenders interesting questions.
