摘要: Melatonin is a ubiquitously present indoleamine with vast capacity for modulating the growth and behavior of plants, animals, microbes. Though melatonin was discovered in plants decades after its discovery mammals, presence has now been confirmed almost all plant families. Despite this, vitro vivo mechanisms action are still poorly defined. Although there an increasingly large number investigations into roles few take advantage culture systems. found to possess several important development, including functions rhythmic cyclic processes, such as chronoregulation, seasonal senescence well modulation reproductive control root shoot organogenesis, maintenance tissues, responses biotic abiotic stresses. This review highlights potential use systems, it plays morphogenesis, importance communication within between how systems can be exploited better understand these understudied melatonin.
