摘要: Purpose To analyze and compare the changes in visual function under mesopic photopic conditions different stages of keratoconus before after Keraring intrastromal corneal ring segment (ICRS) implantation. Setting Clinico San Carlos Hospital Faculty Optics Optometry, Complutense University, Madrid, Spain. Design Case series. Methods Keratoconic eyes were evaluated (0.1 to 0.2 candelas [cd]/m 2 ) (85 cd/m conditions. LogMAR high-contrast corrected distance acuity (CDVA) low-contrast CDVA assessed using Bailey-Lovie test logarithmic contrast sensitivity, Pelli-Robson test. Results The study 12 with stage I keratoconus, 21 2, 14 3. mean change was 0.16 logMAR ± 0.20 (SD) ( P =.0005), sensitivity by a 0.09 0.22 =.005), 0.10 0.26 =.03). There no significant differences between stages. Surgery did not affect or for any stage. Conclusions Implantation ICRS keratoconic increased CDVA, sensitivity. Under low luminance, worsen implantation performed 5.0 mm from axis, despite rings being partially superimposed on mydriatic pupil.
