摘要: The aim of this study was to explore patients' and carers' preferences expectations regarding their contribution research in palliative care through the use qualitative interviews. Data were collected context two studies exploring experiences patients carers. Both recorded recruitment process, numbers or carers accepting declining, circumstances Participants asked about motivation participate research. data analyzed by labeling reflections on motivations for participating these identifying themes. Analysis process revealed differential patterns decline acceptance interviews with different conditions across settings. Among cancer patients, 21/51 declined; proportion other that declined small, 0/10 motor neuron disease.
