摘要: Abstract Chiroptical data for sterically crowded olefins, i.e. cholest-5-enes and cholest-6-enes substituted in the 6- or 4,4,6-positions suggest that π-σ * transition may precede olefinic π-π transition. A comparison with short-wavelength Cotton effects structurally related enones dienes is also presented.
