Bullying in Intimate Partner Relationships: Teen Dating Violence and Adult Intimate Partner Violence as Forms of Bullying

摘要: This chapter provides an overview of bullying dynamics manifested in teen dating violence (TDV) and intimate partner (IPV) between married, cohabitating, or adult partners. An TDV IPV are provided including definitions, prevalence rates, causes, consequences. Then we go on to apply the definitional framework (repetition, power imbalance, intent harm) argue that these forms can be understood as bullying. For example, both repetition emphasized a cycle coercion inherent two violence. Many researchers do not include their definition bullying; however, lens dynamic broaden understanding perpetration victimization close relationships. couples experience imbalances repeated aggression with harm overt covert ways.
