摘要: Determination of the elastic and piezoelectric constants for crystals in class (3m) is complicated by large number independent many possible ways which they may be combined. An experimental analytical procedure has been developed to determine all using primarily thickness‐mode measurements made on small, plate‐shaped samples various crystallographic orientations, results this have obtained lithium tantalate niobate, two recently synthetic crystals. The resonant antiresonant frequency thickness modes calculated as functions a plate's rotation angle. Information form makes selection plate orientations that might useful resonators transducers.
