摘要: Abstract This study provided evidence that Zostera noltii presence affects macrofauna community structure independently from median sediment grain-size and the notion of ecosystem health is rather subjective: in present case, we recorded “good health” terms seagrass development, “no impact” macrobenthic biotic indices “negative effect” for a given key-population. The occurrence development Z. noltii bed was surveyed at Banc d’Arguin, Arcachon Bay (France), to estimate modification macrozoobenthic dynamics key-population local ecosystem, – cockle Cerastoderma edule. Even though decreased only very end survey, i.e. when totally invaded area, most characteristics (such as abundance biomass) increased soon patches appeared. also immediately diverged between sand habitats, without however modifying tested (BENTIX, BOPA, AMBI). population (growth, abundance, recruitment) impacted by development. Related parasite communities slowly with more parasites cockles areas. However, number per always insufficient alter fitness.
