摘要: Abstract Objectives To investigate the added value of fusion high b -value diffusion-weighted images (DWI) and T2-weighted (T2) MR for detection pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNT). Methods 18 patients with histologically proven PNT were included. Two radiologists independently retrospectively reviewed four randomized sets (T2+T1, DWI, T2+DWI, DWI+T2 fusion). Lesion confidence level was assessed using a three grade score (no lesion; uncertain lesion certain lesion); size signal intensity recorded. Apparent diffusion coefficients (ADC) tumor adjacent pancreas measured. Results Readers 1 2 respectively detected 14/18 16/18 lesions on T2+T1, 13/18 12/18 15/18 T2+DWI 17/18 fusion. median 16 mm (range: 7 mm–40 mm), 22% hyperfunctioning (all insulinomas) 72% low-grade (Rindi 1). All except one (with cystic component) showed lower ADC than parenchyma. Fusion imaging had significantly better by both authors ( p Conclusions improve PNT, especially in small isointense conventional sequences.
