摘要: Abstract Cd(II), Sn(II) and Hg(II) complexes of calcium thioacetate have been used as single source precursors to synthesize CdS, SnS 2 HgS nanoparticles by using self-propagating combustion method. The structures the obtained metal sulfides characterized XRD, SEM TEM. crystal structure has solved from powder diffraction. solutions indicated that crystallize in cubic system with cell parameters a = 3.6710 5.8537 A, respectively. CdS crystallizes hexagonal lattice constants, = 4.136, b = 4.136 c = 6.713 A. sizes prepared were estimated 17, 25 24 nm for samples, optical band gap ( E g ) measurements showed allowed direct electronic transitions photon absorption investigated samples. values equal 2.77, 1.75 2.49 eV nanoparticles,
