摘要: Pre-employment drug testing in the workplace has often been adopted by hospitality organizations both nationally and internationally due to acceptance of conventional wisdom that drug-using workers have substantially lower productivity rates. While research consistently finds employees display higher rates substance use, limited conducted on topic pre-employment this industry, applicant employee responses practice yet be investigated. Emerging themes based comments are explored, including perceptions fairness, necessity, value. Suggestions for future theoretical-based offered, implications industry decision makers discussed.
