摘要: Performance simulation of multiproduct dividing wall columns (DWCs) and related optimization considerations provide information on the energy-saving potential various heat coupling arrangements. The control configurations also gains increasing attention. Information physical implementation, i.e., know-how required to design in a cost-effective way DWC incorporating two or more partition walls arranged parallel series, is still missing. Complex sizing explored that needs be carried out with utmost care because pressure drop equalization key ensuring vapor splits among sections. adopted methodology as well challenges peculiarities are illustrated by considering three feasible alternatives for packed four-product DWC.
