摘要: Background There are no standardized criteria to predict the prognosis of patients with low-grade gliomas. Therefore, novel prognostic biomarkers that can guide follow-up schedules and therapeutic approaches urgently required in Methods One hundred nineteen World Health Organization (WHO) II gliomas were recruited between January 2010 December 2016 from Xiangya Hospital for this study. We collected neutrophil lymphocyte values full blood counts measured 24 h before surgery. Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratios (NLRs) then calculated. The significance NLR was determined based on a nonparametric test. Kaplan–Meier method used estimate survival rates. influence progression-free overall evaluated using univariate multivariate Cox proportional hazards models. Results Preoperative NLRs upregulated WHO who relapsed or died. also significantly correlated age, preoperative values, values. Compared low group, high group had higher relapse lower In addition, tumor type independent parameters gliomas, whereas only an parameter Conclusions High associated greater poor
