摘要: Peripheral blood lymphocyte metaphase chromosomes of three Bovoidean species have been studied using Quinacrine fluorescence and Giemsa banding techniques to give Q-, G-, C-banding patterns. Q- G-banding characteristics, coupled with chromosome length, enabled all the in each complements be clearly distinguished, although some difficulties were encountered very smallest chromosomes. A comparison patterns between revealed a remarkable degree homology Each 23 different acrocentric autosomes domestic sheep (2n=54) was represented by an identical goat (2n=60) arms 3 pairs metacentric matches remaining 6 acrocentrics. similar interspecies evident for but two ox (2n=60). This elements confirms previously suggested Robertsonian variation. The close these related indicates that are evolutionarily conservative may useful guide assessing interspecific relationships. —The centromeric heterochromatin found show little or no Q-or G-staining, contrast sex lack staining G-technique (ASG) contrasts markedly results obtained other mammalian species.
