摘要: The objective is to show from a mathematical standpoint that there are certain rules must be followed in the choice of weighting functions used method moments (MM). It shown for particular problem it operator dictates (Galerkin's or another such as least squares) applied, and not computational considerations only. For example, solving Hallen's Pocklington's equation by moments, unnatural choose which zero at ends domain solution. deficiency presented based on reasoning, numerical example given illustrate effect rate convergence
