摘要: The LEED pattern of the Au(110) surface shows a (1 × 2) and also (1× 3) superstructure. superstructure has been determined by comparison intensities with model calculations. missing row is most probable model. A minimum averaged r-factor, r = 0.36, found for 15% contraction first layer spacing without atomic displacements in second layer.
