摘要: The E×B particle guiding center motion caused by two propagating electrostatic waves is investigated. Particle stochastic if three criteria are met: (1) the phase velocities of not equal, (2) drift generated each wave nearly same, and (3) total velocity larger than wave. transport in regime distinguished important characteristics: diffusion coefficient virtually independent electric field fluctuation amplitude E at large E, only which produce commensurate drifts, correlation time does depend on but rather periods. physical mechanism underlying discussed. At dominated a small group particles make long jumps along separatrix potential contours waves.
