摘要: Cloned CTL can be induced to undergo apoptosis with cognate peptide epitopes. This phenomenon has been attributed self recognition and destruction of individual, isolated and/or Ag-induced cell death. It claimed that these mechanism are responsible for extrathymic elimination primed CTL. In our study the contribution all known effector mechanisms (single killing, CTL-CTL backward bystander death, veto) epitope-induced was evaluated. killing found dominant mechanism, a significant from killing. were as susceptible peptide-mediated lysis conventional target cells. CTL, which actively cells, not refractory lytic other but paradoxically, avoid by their own mediators when delivering lethal hit. These data imply mature deleted in periphery direct result although, under certain circumstances peripheral may envisaged is used vaccination.
