摘要: Levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, high-density (HDL) triglycerides and total cholesterol are heritable, modifiable risk factors for coronary artery disease. To identify new loci refine known influencing these lipids, we examined 188,577 individuals using genome-wide custom genotyping arrays. We annotate 157 associated with lipid levels at P < 5 x 10(-8), including 62 not previously in humans. Using dense European, East Asian, South Asian African ancestry, narrow association signals 12 loci. find that blood often cardiovascular metabolic traits, disease, type 2 diabetes, pressure, waist-hip ratio body mass index. Our results demonstrate the value genetic data from diverse ancestry provide insights into biological mechanisms regulating lipids to guide future genetic, therapeutic research.
