摘要: SUMMARY The effects of chronic subcutaneous infusion luteinising hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) have been studied in a group 17 male patients with hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism (HH). Ten the had primary and seven secondary failure gonadotrophin release, all but four previously treated injections. Treatment was continued for between one 18 months well tolerated by except patient who became allergic to LHRH. An increase basal concentrations occurred within week initiation therapy, this associated rise serum testosterone level eight patients. Increased spermatogenesis demonstrated cases three pregnancies resulted thus far. Pituitary desensitisation LHRH found five subjects HH failed produce any secretion despite an initial stimulation release. We conclude that pulsatile is effective technique treatment some hypogonadism.
