摘要: BACKGROUND The social diversity, heterogeneous culture, and inherent economic inequality factors in Latin America (LA) justify conducting a comprehensive analysis on the current status future trends of peri-implant diseases conditions. Thus, aim this Delphi study was to predict diagnosis treatment conditions LA countries for year 2030. METHODS A American steering committee group experts implant dentistry validated questionnaire including 64 questions divided into eight sections. run twice with an interval 45 days, results from first round made available all participants second round. were expressed percentages data analyzed describing consensus level reached each question. RESULTS total 221 invited participate 214 (96.8%) completed two rounds. Moderate (65%-85%) high (≥ 85%) 51 (79.69%), except dealing "prevalence", where no reached. High moderate attained three fields (risk indicators, deficiencies, prevention maintenance). CONCLUSIONS present has provided relevant useful information predictions among experts. Nevertheless, there is still lack agreement certain domains.
