摘要: Excess molar volumes, VmE, over the whole composition range for binary mixtures of 1-butanol, 2-butanol, and 2-methyl-2-propanol + 1-octanol, or 2-octanol, di-n-butyl ether, n-hexylacetate were determined at 298.15 K from density measurements carried out with a vibrating-tube densimeter. Small VmE values, both positive negative, are displayed by containing 1- whereas larger values always found dibutyl ether hexylacetate. These results can be justified in terms H-bonding interactions and/or steric hindrance due to branched alkyl chains. Partial volumes infinite dilution isomeric butanols C8 compounds also calculated apparent dilute solution. The solute-solvent effects local organisation solvent around butanol molecules discussed using void cavity as different estimates intrinsic volume molecules. volumetric behavior seems rather than packaging effects.
