摘要: Brazilian peppertree, Schinus terebinthifolia Raddi (Anacardiaceae), is a South American plant that highly invasive in Florida. The impact of insect herbivores on the performance peppertree was evaluated at two locations Florida using an insecticide exclusion method. Although 38 species were collected tree, there no differences growth or reproductive output protected and unprotected trees, providing evidence feeding had measurable tree performance. majority insects generalists, several serious agricultural pests.
