摘要: Abstract Pitting corrosion of Inconel 600 was examined in chloride and sulfate solutions through usage potentiodynamic polarization techniques. The effects concentration were investigated the range 0.0001 to 0.1M. Increasing concentrations resulted active shifts pit nucleation potential. Immunity pitting evident at a level below 0.005M. improved resistance solutions. Detrimental associated with low-level being added dilute media. density pits increased increasing or temperature between room 70°C. Systematic trends for depth not evident. observations open immersion consistent those methods. Corrosion products contained enriched nickel, chromium iron small amount titanium silicon. enrichment chlorine sulfur still, however, found.
