摘要: The photodepletion and reaction dynamics of O atoms isolated in xenon matrices have been studied. Oxygen are generated by 193 nm photolysis a N2O dopant monitored via the laser‐induced fluorescence XeO exciplexes produced 248 excitation Xe/O pairs. Dissociative relaxation generates energetic which may travel significant distances matrix. This photoinduced mobility can lead to atom loss. loss process is found be bimolecular from 15 42 K at all fluences studied ascribed an O+O recombination process. Higher temperature data (42 K) exhibit behavior characteristic transition second order first kinetics. A kinetic scheme derived used model infer microscopic description dynamics.
