摘要: N-polyhydroxyalkyl fatty acid amides are used as thickening agents for liquid aqueous surfactant systems. Compounds of formula ##STR1## where R 1 is an alkyl group; 2 hydrogen, group, or alkylene oxide and X a polyhydroxyalkyl thickeners. The thickeners particularly useful in systems which contain paraffinsulfonate.
