摘要: The project "BAT BOX: Be a Bat's Friend" was launched in 2006 with the aim of spreading correct information about ecological role bats, rehabilitating their image and fostering involvement public conservation actions. A wooden, sin- gle-chamber bat box designed produced at low cost. Through collaboration Coop, to date ca. 25000 boxes have been sold over much country cost price. Private citizens, institutions associations installed monitored using standard form for collection data. sale range project-related merchandis- ing articles has raised funds used research projects. Conferences, meetings, school lessons, papers an informative brochure helped spread aims project. In 2010, Disney Italia new educational comic strip "Donald Duck Kiro Bat". monitoring showed pro- gressive increase success colonisation time, up 40.0%. general, both time from installation height above ground proved significantly influence colonisa- tion success.
